Save money by buying yourself a korean rail (kr) pass!: if you’re in korea, you are most definitely going to be traveling around the country. if you are traveling by rail, it can get very pricey.. Korea is probably the best place to save money teaching english abroad for beginners. it is not the highest paying country in terms of salaries, but there are a lot of benefits, such as free airfare, free housing, severance pay (1 month pay at the end of the contract), a pension for some and a fairly low cost of living ..
